To be frank Falconer is right on this. Germany is the grey eminence behind practically everything what happens in the EU. They colonized central and eastern Europe, and they are the leading economical and political force in Europe. Of course the UK and France are trying to maintain a strong position, but none of these two have the money(=power) to do so. The rest of Europe are basically a lot of vassal states on German life support.

I think that what is proposed in the title does not make much sense.
Greeks may be angry with the German politicians or bankers, but what does that have to do with the ordinary German people or companies?
Some of the workers in Germany are even Greeks themselves, or Turks, Bosnians and others?
Should you punish them as well and why?

What about the Germans who wants to have holiday in Greece and spend their money there?
Do you still think this is such good idea?

Its okay if Greeks state to boycott German products, but its not fair if they equate this with a boycott by anti-Nazi in 1933. Anyway a boycott action from Greeks wont affect Germany industries imo, on the contrary, there are many Greeks working there.

Millions of German car users around the world will agree with you. Greeks are doing what they can to blame Germany, but the fact is they can only blame themselves. Germany didn't lure them into the union and forced into debt, their own government did.

First the German products are between the best products on the earth. So who boycott them must be stupid. Everyone who want the best will have the best with those. Second this racism is not fair. Germany has major contributes in the lives of the Greeks. The pensions and the salary of Greeks are high because of the money given by the Germany. It is not good to be ungrateful.
