Most of the Bitcoiner know about it. No need for this thread. That's why DuckDuckGo is becoming more popular.

So sad! This profile does not appear as the #1 result (on anonymous) Google searches anymore.

Time to be active on the crypto forums again? Proud to be one of the few Legendary members of the Sparkie Red Dot!

Gonna put this on my resume if I ever join a cryptocurrency/blockchain industry!

Those are old news , most of people know that now and understand how there is no such a thing called "privacy" on privacy nowdays , that include Facebook & DropBox and a lot of other famous and known companies . Snowden speaking about them here : http://techcrunch.com/2014/10/11/edward-snowden-new-yorker-festival/

I recommend startpage or ixquick as your search engine. And not to use Chrome/Chromium.

I heard on the news the other day that the new Samsung smart TV record and spy on you. It's the curved ones that they were talking about. I don't believe everything I hear on the news as they have been proven to lie,  but that I do find believable.

I think that today all major IT and Internet companies are doing the same thing, recording our activities on the Internet and based on that adjusting their sales strategy, new products etc.
I don't think that we can avoid that, because life without the Internet and new technologies is not an option, right?
The only thing we can do is to not share private information on the Internet, when it really not necessary.

There is no such thing as privacy here now in the information age - it is a ghost of what once was, a dead thing walking.

Let it go, and rejoice fellow wage-slaves, for your masters are losing their privacy too, and the next thing they will lose is the billions they horde for themselves.

Remember Aaron Swartz, a 26 year old computer scientist who died defending the free flow of information.

All systems seek equilibrium in nature, only an outside force can prevent it. Capitalism is a system of non-equilbrium, dependant on constant hierarchy-based violence to keep things out of balance. As information flow becomes wholly impossible to impede or even delay, the light of truth will wash away all the myths of man, and the very worst myth that's going to die this century is the myth that some men deserve to live as kings while others deserve to suffer and die in the mud.

Remember Aaron Swartz, a 26 year old computer scientist who died defending the free flow of information.

In your browser, you should be able to block all cookies from google.com googleapis.com youtube.com and if needed google.yourcountrysuffix
I also block facebook.com and plenty others, so I feel pretty safe regarding google. Of course, I never use the search engine, nor Chrome.

I used to be a citizen and a taxpayer. Those days are long gone.

I'm aware of this, I believe it's on their privacy policy that they keep logs of our traffic and monitoring everyone for some reasons
And not only Google; also social media sites , ISPs and even VPNs were doing the same thing.

I've seen videos that talks about how Google invades your privacy. As long as they're not doing something fishy about it, I'm fine. I don't really trust my sensitive infos online specially my bank and credit card details. Never used them online nor on my phone.

In your browser, you should be able to block all cookies from google.com
Or just go all out and use TOR with Tails, both are free.
