This could be a cool full length film. The Bitcoin world has so much quirks and resources to make for a fantastic documentary/film, so much drama and mysteries along with the technological revolution that Bitcoin is. Mark my words and we'll sooner or later see a commercial film about Bitcoin related stuff in the big theaters.

The fact Satoshi is anonymous benefits Bitcoin. From a clueless person POV it makes it seem mysterious and interesting, and they may start looking at it from there, from a pure curiosity perspective. Also, it's better that there is no "CEO" type of leading figure that the founder would automatically be, being anonymous makes you safe from ad hominens and generally cheap attacks.

Great short film! Satoshi Nakamoto is one of the iconic names in the modern era. Whoever that person is, he deserves a cookie for creating a technological innovation that changed our views forever. If this became a commercially produced movie, I'm sure that many will watch this and will be interested in using bitcoin too.

A cookie will attract less publicity than receiving the Nobel Prize--a reason I can think that maybe he will choose the cookie over the latter.

Finding Satoshi Nakamoto is a short film exploring whether the mysterious and reclusive founder of Bitcoin and a geeky Harlem resident may be the same person. Shoot is scheduled for Sunday 10/19 weather permitting with auditions and callbacks on Thursday 10/16.

Satoshi Nakamoto/Sean Nathanson - Male, African-Asian Mix, 25-45 - Nerdy, but versatile. Blends in yet feels somewhat uncomfortable at home in the streets of Harlem or in the boardrooms of Tokyo. Strong improv and comedy background preferred.

Reporter - Female, Open Ethnicity, Open Age - Ultra-professional go-getter television reporter, intent on getting the big scoop and breaking into the big time.

Camera man - Male, Open Ethnicity, Open Age - Long suffering partner of the go-getter Reporter.

Kid - Male or Female, Open Ethnicity, 7-12. Mystical figure with ethereal quality.

Beatboxer - Male or Female, Open Ethnicity, Open Age - Talented beatboxer.

All roles are no pay, but talent will be provided with meal and footage.

And that is exactly why we need movie about him. It is ultra rare that in our time and age someone of this caliber could be anonymous for so long.
Satoshi is exceptional figure and it will be great material for hollywood drama movie with top class actors, not just some amateur youtube shorts.
I am sure that you guys are aware that drama movie about Edward Snowden is going to hit every cinema soon. Why not Satoshi?

Most world people have known Edward Snowden, but not for Satoshi Nakamoto. You could your family who satoshi is, I bet they have no idea about him. I hope all bitcoin user can watch this short film in youtube, then if this video get more popularity, non bitcoin people will aware and begin to watch it too, and will seek information about satoshi and his masterpiece, bitcoin.
