I had opened one in Games & Rounds which got deleted without a trace. Are they allowed?
Make sure you back up your wallet regularly! Unlike a bank account, nobody can help you if you lose access to your BTC.

Referral spam is not allowed. If the purpose of your thread is to promote your referral link then your thread will most likely end up in the trashcan. If you want to pay people to sign up for some website via some other means besides referral spam then I don't see any issue with it (e.g. if a site were to pay you to get as many sign ups as possible, but you don't use any kind of referral link or tracking)

I think the actual issue is pasting a visible referral link (after looking at other similar, longer lasting threads). I will reword the thread.

I think the issue is having a referral link in the thread period. If you are advertising a referral link then there is a very good chance that your thread will be deleted.

If other referral links are not visible, then it is possible that no one has noticed such links, and upon your reporting of such threads, they would most likely also be moved to the trashcan
