@OP, Yes, i have more than 1 btc, but sadly not even a small portion of what i once had remained. Are you asking about 1 btc as a some form of 21 million people club? Because owning one bitcoin today makes you one of 341,830 , and not one in 21 million. You can check exact statistics at ondn.net:800/search. It's interesting to see that smaller amount of people hold very large portions of bitcoins, similar as to what is happening in fiat. Interesting how many people lost a large share of their money in gambling.
Amounts can be deceiving, because people often talk about how much btc they lost, but not how much that btc was worth at the time. I lost over 200 btc gambling, but it wasn't worth much at the time tbh. cheers This is bullshit. He is basically not one of 341830 but his address is. I have way more than 1 BTC, but I never hold more than 1 BTC in one address, so I'm not the part of the people holding 1 BTC? This. There's no exact way to know. There may be whales out there, having 10 BTC on each address, but their total wallet may be 1000.. its really tricky, thats why total supply seems like a better estimate.

Ofcourse i'm referring to addresses, finding all associated wallets would be next to impossible. May i ask why do you not hold coins in same address? If you are not using it anymore (except for the saving) i don't see the point of doing so, especially if they are on the same wallet.. Yeah, I definitely have my fair share but wasted dozens of them on mining garbage in the past during the pre-order era. Wish I could play that one back.
You are not the only one having regrets cheers

I do have quite a few bitcoins, but I suck badly as a trader - and the number of BTC is decreasing steadily. Even if I'm aware of this, just owning coins is boring if you have it as somewhat of a hobby. I'm pretty sure I will eventually go BTC broke due to this.

Yes I have more than 1 BTC. It's pretty easy to get one Bitcoin and I can earn really good money with my signature campaign. If you really want 1 BTC try to do some trades here like reselling things you bought with fiat for BTC and such.
I think its just for you easy to make 1 BTC from signature campaign, but for beginner its hard to make 1 BTC from signature campaign. And for reselling if your account not have good trust will be hard to sell here. Newbie can learn basic trading and then start trading altcoins on YoBit.net.. there are so many ways to get BTC, but please, never play martingale with your BTC. Never.

no i didn't invest anything i used the money earned there to buy more mining equipment(actually i rent mining with miningrigrental) and that's it, my profit was growing every day
then you could use bigger mining connected to more account to earn more, with a g-blade it was possible to mine with 16 account without the need of 160 euro
To make it simple you had money and then you gave it to someone for hardware (or hosted hardware, it doesn't matter). This means at that given moment your coins were in someone else's possession and you were given a piece of hardware that was supposed to bring you profit and it did, but there was a chance it would not. Even if you used the coins earned on that site you were reinvesting your previous profits, the money you could as well cash out and buy something else. no man i didn't invest like i've said, i started with one gpu in their site, then with that i made profit, which i used to buy more HW then again the profit raised and i used those to expand the mining, in the end i turned few euro in 10k or more there was no risk because you were payed daily, if they sjut down one day i'll lose only the electricity of that day, would have been an insignificant loss...

Good decision to use Blockchain.info just as a hot wallet. I was always scared with online wallets but I will try it.

You know that online wallet enables third party to control your coins? Your coins are officially not yours anymore. In case of hacker attack or some sort of server malfunction your coins will be in danger. Online wallets are good only for keeping small amount of coins for fast spendings.

Good decision to use Blockchain.info just as a hot wallet. I was always scared with online wallets but I will try it. There was a time I had around 5btc on there and the price was double it is now In my defence the wallet was being used on my linux system and was a very clean computer which never downloaded anything or clicked suspicious links without scanning. That stayed safe for around a year until I moved it. You was/are right to be a little scared/cautious that is the way your funds will stay safe. Only keep on their what you can afford to lose.

Your own computer is more likely to be hacked and a lot harder to make secure. That's why online wallets aren't a great idea.

Yes, I have 1 bitcoin. I bought one as soon as I heard about bitcoin. I plan to save it. oh like that, whether online wallet as strong as blockchain can be hacked? and according to what your wallet recommendations ?
Your own computer is more likely to be hacked and a lot harder to make secure. That's why online wallets aren't a great idea. IF your computer can be hacked then so can your desktop wallet. If your computer or the site you use to create your paper wallet are compromised then that's no good either.
