i know how btc works n i do support it. N also few lite versions of such currencies can be accpetablr. But what i dont understand is, why are there millions of branded cryptos now? Atleast what is the point in making new ico everyday?
Who knows that someone might come up tomorrow saying, here buy my shit coin, its called poop.  Tongue

Bitcoin is first generation of coins. Many tech geeks are trying to improve its protocol and do a bit changes to some of its parameters to fit their special needs! Some of the changes are really innovative and accepted by their supporters! But we should aware that some coins are just clones and just pump-dump Ponzi,  which we should avoid! Nowadays ppl are cautious with this kind of scams!

I don't think we need this amount of alt coins and bear in mind that a lot of new coins pop up every day without really improving the alt scene. It will be better if we manage to reduce the number of coins and improve the quality.  Smiley

I'm pretty sure there is a few poop-themed coins already. Why ere there so many altcoins? because anyone can make one. It's up to you which ones you think are safe to use, most probably aren't very safe.

create coins, pre-mine, dump when it hits exchange.

that's the definition of making money for most scammers and it seems to work fine in crypto.

I think that we do not need so many crypto coins. But there are a lot of people, who like to make new crypto coins. With time, I think there will be some main crypto coins only  Grin

I gave up on altcoins a long time ago. listening to the hype on here from coins like NEM desperately trying to convince themselves they are going to become the new economy was too hard to bear. If any coin makes it, it will be Bitcoin.

There are still good projects to invest in. I have invested in Getgems but I see the coin as a token and part of the micro economy of the app. Beyond those kind of projects, they are all worthless. IMO.

Like I said gemz isn't really a crypto, its the payment system within an app. Bitcoin is my only offer as a Crypto we need.
