Not like that.
When you buy from Wal-Mart and Mac, you can be rewarded in Bitcoins.
For me, THIS IS EXTREMELY GREAT !!

So those companies gonna buy bitcoin ? Can you read? Can you read? Calm down people, nothing happened to start a fight. No Greendragon, I will explain it for you in simple terms. Most probably this is what going to happen : You will have a reward card, where you will have some bitcoins given to you as a client when you purchase any meal from Mac for example. Lets say you will buy Quarter Pounder Combo for $20 for example, as a reward, they will give you for example $3 BTC in your reward card. You can spend that $3 BTC or save it, they are yours.

Just because they are able to doesn't mean they will. In fact it's most unlikely they will. Smart companies don't get involved in these kind of scams.

but they still use the biggest scam out there called fiat money right? do only bad thing about this is that it will encourage bitcoin believer to become more fatty due to the shitty that MC is selling it's a good news for bitcoin, buy why bitcoin price still crash. mcdonalds and nasdaq accept bitcoin now
because the reflection of their work will not be immediately, we need to wait some time like many months, before you can see an impact on the market

A lot of rewards programs are now using Bitcoin as a form of reward. I believe Bing Rewards was allowing for a cash out in a gift card which could be transferred to BTC. I don't expect the fast food chains to directly accept it though, I doubt the employees could care enough to bother with it or even understand how to use it.

This basically means that every social layer in the world (everybody buys mcdonalds right? ) now has easy acces to atleast a little bitcoin! Also, they will hear about it and will look it up. This is something to help get bitcoin mainstream! Edit: And maybe when bitcoin jumps in value, your reward was more than the cost of the burger

Sounds good to me. Even if they are not taking bitcoin as a payment currency, by just opting to integrate into their reward program, will mean having them show a certain level of acceptance, and the fact considering McD is one of the biggest franchise in the world. If it goes on fine, probably we might see other companies adopting the method and doing the same.

what kind of scams....? if you consider bitcoin a scam, then why don't you simply leave this forum and bitcoin for good? but you're not going to do that as you secretly love bitcoin.

But how do they give you those BTC if they don't buy them first? Anyway, this is just a silly intermediate move towards the inevitable: Just accept Bitcoin already and stop playing around. It offers a great way to spread the word tho, it's a good propaganda for BTC. If you get some free BTC, then you'll be curious about it and do research.
