i dont know if this is a thing or if anyone can really do this, but.. i have an s5 that only hashes off 1 board and very inconsistently.. miner status rows shows 0000 for top asic and ---- for bottom.. it will also only run for about half an hour and then stop. it will still be accessible through web interface, but not actually provide any hashing output..
i really have no idea how this happened to it..

anyway, im curious if anyone on here could fix this.. im not keen on sending it back to bitmain cause i dont think they will like the custom fans etc it has..
i will obviously cover shipping back and forth (domestic USA is preferred).. name your price!
thx Smiley

edit: i will have to limit this to trusted members only i think for obvious reasons

Dear friend, one of your boards is gone.Probably one or more chips are not working properly. You can measure the voltage of the not working board. The voltage will decrease with a constant value however if there is a problematic chip the value will remain same.So the expected outcome and the real outcome will be diffrent (higher). What can you do?

Personally nothing.Because the chips are embedded and I am not skilled to replace them.

Pls. also take care of other members before taking any action.

If you have some voltage/watt meter, connect the miner to it and monitor it.

S5 Specs-

Power Consumption: 590 W
Rated Voltage: 12V

see if there is something different.
