I have an s3+ that wont hash. It was running fine, but now it wont stay powered on. It will boot if unplugged then plugged back in and powered on. Note it will not boot if powered off and on.

It runs until it starts to hash, then it powers off.

I am running it on a thermaltake 1500w power supply. Along with an s5.

Looks like I blew a rail on the power supply. I moved things around and it came back up.

250 would be pushing the unit pretty hard on a S3.

But glad you figured it out OP.  In future you might look into getting single rail instead of multi.

Frequency @ 250 s very risky for s3 family. If there is an electricity cut or similar electricity fluctations you may loss one of your boards.

It honestly is higher then they should be set long term.   C1's come set default at that with a LOT more cooling.

But S3+ is all aircooled and a overclock like that could be to much possibly, each unit is different.
