I recently helped a client set up a video chat site and although they paid for hosting with Bitcoin I also advised them to use Bitcoin on their site when they asked about helping them incorporate credit cards payments into their site as they were having issues with it !!

Question would be, how do the person hosting the chat conversion get paid? I doubt these people even know what a bitcoin wallet is let alone how to receive a payment. Wouldn't they get paid in tokens or something like that anyways as the site operator takes the bitcoins and converts them for the cammers and pays them in real cash.

If that mainstream, that is horrible. You have to scroll thru each one and most of them say offline. And very hardware intensive site.
I am not into these camgirl sites but I see a that the potential is there to make quite a bit of bitcoin as the regulars to these sites tip like 1BTC is nothing but fantasy money to them.

There's reason people don't like to use their credit card, because they wnt to hide their identity (most of them). So what better than to do it than Bitcoin. I don't know why it hasn't been used it. It's fast also, save you the trouble of verification.

For sure the best way is to pay with bitcoin (if you have those). No strings attached, no one can stole those, no problems after the payment, no fear that someone can stole your data e can use your credit card. But this will limit the profits for them which sells the service. No one own bitcoin so no all the people who wants to use that service will join.

So the best choice it will be both.

bitcoin because it simply offers a lot of benefits against using Credit cards.

bitcoin is anonymous so you can protect your privacy while you can not to this while using credit cards. the bitcoin transaction can be secure so sending bitcoin to the receiving address can be more secure than sending with credit card and entering your passcodes online.
on the other hand for the receiving end of bitcoin it is great because the sender can never charge back. and this is a big problem for them.

Cam ppl who do this want credit cards because they can set up scammy recurring billing and the tricks can simply reach in their pocket and impulse buy credits. There's no reason you can't accept both, since bitcoin is trivial to accept just generate some addresses and write a script that crawls a blockchain for confirmations, or take stealth bitpay. Your decoy site requests a bitpay address, then passes it to the not acceptable porn0 cam site. Bitpay only sees Bob's software sales getting payments and not houseofpoon.xxx but obviously I don't recommend you do this.
