Well. Not really. If the domain is transferred to your account (you have full access to it). You can renew it for around $34.99 USD (according to Name.net - the registrar).

However, I have to agree with you that 1575 USD is indeed very expensive for a .market domain. If it were a .com or a better known domain, it might worth the money. According to http://www.cryptonames.com/bitcoin-domain-sales, Satoshi.com* was sold for $75, 000 USD.

* Satoshi is the name of the person who created Bitcoin.
