MtGox is taking forever to load, wonder if its currently being DOSed?

Mt Gox gets DDoSed almost everyday. They are well protected. Dont worry Smiley

Not protected enough it would seem. They have been down for the last 12 hours or so from here. A Ping test indicates they are down or extremely slow in New York, Sydney, Auckland, Shanghai, and a bunch of other places.

this attempt to disrupt them will fail and backfire.  I will boycott almost every other bitcoin exchange if this continues and will continue to patronize mtgox.  (sure is annoying, though.)

this is a shame because we could use some good, honest competition in this space. 

anyone running a business in this bitconomy should be very concerned when one, even a competitor, is attacked like this.  anyone who has any info or influence on this should apply it to cut this shit out.
