I sent a lot of bitcoin to a receiving address / wallet.  My bitcoin acct on Electrum is completely empty (I didn't mean for that to happen, but adding in) and the receiving wallet has NOTHING.

I got 300 confirmations.

Any help in tracking this much appreciated.  It went and then - poof - disappeared.  That has never happened to me before in the months I've used Electrum.

Thanks.

Open your Electrum wallet and find the address that you sent the bitcoins to.

Post that address here (or send a PM if you prefer not to make your address public) so I can look and see what happened.

There are two possibilities that I can immediately think of:

1) You accidentally sent to the wrong address.
2) The bitcoins are at the correct address, and your Electrum wallet is failing to notice.

If you sent to the wrong address, then we'll need to figure out where you actually sent to and see if you can regain access from there.

If your Electrum wallet is failing to notice the bitcoins, then we'll need to get some help from someone a bit more experienced in dealing with the Electrum wallet.

are you sure that the electrum is online? if its not online It cant detect the amount of BTC that it has, restart it, this happened to me before.
