wow... it's kinda nerve wrecking that it's going up so quick.

only if you didn't expect it ... the steel balls will be necessary when it blasts through a $100.

What about when the Al Jazeera story hits, some Saudi prince sees it and decides to switch the reserve currency of oil to bitcoin.

It could happen.

I doubt that they'd change their reserve currency in a month. But maybe the story will encourage them to try it out, which would definitely drive the price up further.

Muslim elders/scholars/lawyers could declare that bitcoin is in compliance with Islamic law, unlike trashy heathen fiat fun-bux.

Also, Hugo Chavez might decree bitcoins be the new People's Currency, and only sell oil to the Imperial swine for them.

hehe, don't dream, Hugo Chavez loves having control over Venezuela's currency in order to finance his "bolivarian socialism" with money printing when petrodollars aren't enough. They've faced more than 30% annual inflation recently. He started some price control schemes. If Venezuela adopts bitcoin, it will be because its people will do it on their own to protect from inflation, not because of their dictator.

woke up this morning: +3$ / BTC  Shocked

a lot of people are buying --> mining is f****** profitable  Smiley

price going up and if trend continues, buying is still more profitable. I honestly thought prices were going to calm down but it's not the case and making buying look much more attractive option of the two.

Is mining really still profitable? I thought because of the amount of people mining right now it was hard unless you dedicated all your time to it.
