[ANN] Microtronix VPS Server's

We have had a few customer's complain they didn't get our Network Service announcement email last week that we sent out and two weeks ago regarding a network maintenance window we had last night and tonight.

Below is the network announcement:

The first window will be Tuesday, September 25th from 11PM CST to Wednesday, September 26th 7AM CST. This is to replace the current core devices and update some of the distribution as well as some access.

The second window will be Wednesday, September 26th 11PM CST to Thursday, September 27th 7AM CST. This is to continue the replacement of distribution and access.

All VPS units will be directly effected during both. The total downtime is expected to be about half an hour as each of the access layer devices are replaced, but as complications arise, this may take a bit longer.

During the first maintenance window, our websites, including microthosting.com, clients.microtronix-tech.com, microtronix-tech.com will be entirely inaccessible until the respective devices are brought back up.

Our nameserver's will however still be online as we use separate DNS server's in another NOC in Canada for just such an occasion, so all shared hosting account's will not be affected.

Unfortunately we had a few complication's with a couple of the node's during last night's window. This has effected a few node's to the point where a few of the VPS unit's are still offline as of right now.

There are only a few of them still suffering this problem, maybe 10 VPS unit's in all. We are working with the network crew at the DC to get this up and running ASAP for you.

Since a lot of people from the BTC community said they never got the email we decided to post here to let those know who are yet to open a ticket.
