BitPervy: Share Porn and Earn Bitcoin

This week, BitPervy, an adult entertainment site, which enables users to share porn for digital currency had its soft launch for users to test out its bitcoin revenue sharing system.

BitPervy founder explained in a Reddit thread:

“Currently revenues are split 50/50 between members and the site, but if you own 5% of the shares then you earn 5% of the portion of revenues distributed to members.”

What are your thoughts on this matter guys ? I personally kinda against this idea because it just make bitcoin looks bad when you are using it just for Darkweb & Porn ... so yeah

What do they mean with "sharing porn"? Do you have to share original content (recording your own porn)? Because otherwise, how is it legal to share porn? That's basically pirating other people's work.

There is a porn star turned porn film maker called Ben Dover who started sending demands for money to all Germans who had viewed his films on Redtube. There is some legal ruling in Germany that allows prosecution for even watching streamed porn if its copyrighted and you haven't paid. Ben Dover somehow got viewers IPs, then their addresses from their IPs and threatened legal actiion if they didn't pay him.

He would probably do the same to BitPervy and its users. Bitcoin wouldn't provide much protection if he could get their IPs. They would have to go through Tor or a VPN to avoid prosecution.

just registered, like this cool idea, but i saw the revenue is only a few there, but I can see many casino ads there, shouldn't they earn a lot cos they can get ads fees from casinos? I don't have an idea now.

Well, porn and Bitcoin have been talked for quite sometime, with some services jumping on the bandwagon, and some website smaking contents sold exclusively with Bitcoin... This is one more of those sites. They don't seem to have ads... At least as far as I've seen. I question how will this sharing revenue thing will be... Let's see. This probably will have quite a few users.

I can't help but notice that your message is made with Roman characters, which took a lot of hard work to create and popularize.  Did you pay the royalties?  How about the "qwerty" design you used, what do you think that kind of hard work comes free?  Boys, grab him.  Off to Gitmo with him.
