do you have proof that there was a deal between you and the user? screenshots of pm's skype conversations, etc? anyone can make a new account, make a new address, and say that they were supposed to have bitcoins sent there. also, if this was a paypal transaction, you didnt really lose anything as you could just charge it back, if you were actually scammed of course.

People should learn something on Bitcointalk while trading , you should know that people who have account with less value then the transaction value then he will most likely be scamming you . (this apply for Full member and below most of the time) . I'am not saying that they are all scammers , of course not . but looking to his trade history all his trades are small and you made a mistake by takign such a risk without using an Escrow .
Now , since your post dosen't proove anything you need to proove that you sent him $ on his Paypal + give the email that he asked you to send to + give screenshot of Skype or PM or topic where you asked him to send to that BTC adress . (Post screenshots) then we will take care of it . (giving him negative reputation) .
P.S : If he really scammed you then you may think on calling Paypal and open dispute to get a chargeback before he run with the money and cash them out and it's too late

I've paid as a gift it won't let me chargeback everything on paypal can be charged back, and you still have no proof that there was a deal between you and the user, making me believe you made that newbie account just to troll or try to slander someone's rep. until those screenshots are posted, no one is going to take this accusation seriously.

Try to claim that it was an unauthorized transaction. I believe that the money will immediately be taken from his account has paypal looks into it further.

Hopefully, although it is possible that he had you send it to a fake PayPal. If that is the case, the money might already be gone, as I'm sure he transferred it to his real account. In any case, file a dispute ASAP.

People selling BTC for PayPal will actually scam the person selling the BTC. They receive the PayPal, convincing the other person to send first, because PayPal is reversible, making the other person think they are safe, because they can reclaim their money either way. But they actually have a fake PP set up. They receive the money, transfer it to their real account, then close the fake one. Common.

I've paid as a gift it won't let me chargeback So you try the samething with someone else? Kidaces claimed you tried and scam him the same day. Do not trust newbie that just created account and very first post is asking for trade using paypal. Common tactic for Paypal scammers. Time to give you a negative for doing the same to someone else. He must of seen you were going to scam someone, so did not continue in completing it before being left holding the bag for you. Your kind is not welcomed here.

Wouldnt paypal see where the scammer transfered the money and consequently could take action on that account as well not to mention that they supposedly have your personal information?

Hello
Why don't you use escrow? You are just a newbie here Make a dispute to pp and if your funds are clean you will win.
