I we hit 500 at end of 2015 I consider that a big win. We really are not to far away from the end of 2015.
If you look that is almost 2x of where we are now. So that would be a nice jump.

Online polls are terribly inaccurate with double or more votes from the same individual masking their IP. How many of those 2700 votes are legit? I take it with a grain of salt. Bitcoin could be $100 or $1,200 by the end of 2015.... why they chose $500 as a target I don't know.

It's hard for me to take serious thoughts around the $500 by the end of the year when we're clearly in a bull market at this point. Go higher, way higher. So many battered women syndromes around here when a bull market is ready to move. The low expectation crowd has a duty to themselves to sell at $500 and leave the rest up to the real bulls.

the only thing that i can be somewhat sure about is that the bitcoin price will be higher than $300 by the end of 2015 but it is hard to predict the exact price since the market can still be sable with a small rise every month. or another pump can come that breaks all expectations and push the price up to year 2013 .

Yes, I am. I'd say $400 is a good price by the end of this year.

while 500 sounds reasonable for a good prediction for the end of the years a, there is no assurance that there will not be an istable new ath and then down again to 500, i'm mean we could skyrocket more than a mere 1200 this time and then fall back to 500
so what you will consider in this scenario, if this will happen around end of the year?

i also think bitcoin price will be lower than $500 this year. don't see any reason why bitcoin would nearly double in value from current price.

For a legendary member, you post some pretty ridiculous stuff. Every day that bitcoin is still alive and kicking is another day towards success. If bitcoin becomes a real success the price per coin will be MUCH higher due to simple supply and demand.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip. Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

Actually I am surprised that we have that many bears left in the bitcoin environment. The end of the year, world wide economic crisis tends to be pretty good background to provide some fundamentals for the beginning of a new real rally.

It looks like this forum attracts more people that are bullish than bearish on bitcoin. The results are the opposite of the coinsdesk figures

the results are much different if people have to vote with their money ie bet. on ipredict.co.nz
86% of people say the price will be between 100-500 and 4.7% from 50-100 and a further 1.7% of below 50. all up then 92.4% think it will be below $500.
but in case there is another willy bot I have some bets that it will be above $500 and some bets it will below $100. ( i happen to believe that without the manipulators (eg those that intervened at $177 a while back) the price would have gone down to $60 ie post willy bot that is where the price should have fallen to. And be back to a new bottom of $146 n 2016 and a new bottom of $360 in 2017. that is still at least a 2.46 times increase every year since the $4 of 2012.
So i see buying bitcoins even at todays price of $276 is still ok as longer term it will still seem cheap without it ever suddenly needing to go to the moon - as nice as that would be

Yes of course I want to be in that part of that percentage. I really want the price to go around 500$. It would make many many people really happy and for most of them a good profit as they bought cheap in the past.
