Hi, I have about 500 PCs in local network and I'm trying to put them at work. I've found couple tutorials here how to make pool but first I would like to check which pool type is right for me. I already saw that P2Pool is distributed system, but I guess I should know drawbacks. Also, what happens when pool gets larger number of miners which pool type gets better performance?

Beside that, I saw that PCs are pretty bad now at BTC mining so should I do mining for LTC instead? With larger pool will I have better profit with LTC or BTC considering that LTC cannot be parallelized if I'm right?

Sorry if I posted this question in wrong section.
