This has nothing to do with bitcoin, but I need some advice as I am stumped.

I got a laptop Tosh sat pro U300, it has a vista business OEMAct COA on the back.

What the fluff is "act" and why does it not tell me if it's representative of 32-bit or 64-bit?

Please don't flood with, why am I using vista, I just would like to have the original software for my laptops.

Can anyone educate me, maybe point me to a torrent for the correct .img file for the COA.

Thanks in advance.

AFAIK the keys work for either version 32 or 64 bit.

The CoA should have a little code e.g. X03-32822 for the WinNT I recently found. Find yours to find out for which version the key is.

MS used to provide ISO files (at least for Win7 versions), but AFAIK they stopped and I dont know of any torrents. Its probably a bad idea to get your OS from a shady source anyway.

Im not really here, its just your imagination.

I have found multiple sites saying these are the correct file to download. You'll have to find the downloads yourself. Verify the files you downloaded against the SHA1 hash.

Windows Vista English (32-bit)
X14-63452.exe
Boot.wim
Install.wim (2.7Gb)
SHA1: 487726AAC8AAFE9FFFCE3F4C42463BB13A8E9C3E

Windows Vista English (64-bit)
X14-63453.exe
Boot.wim
Install.wim (3.6 Gb)
SHA1: FD3DDD67071373542D195209AC5E5B1702C18C4C

This is the create DVD instructions:

If you open up the start menu and right click on computer then properties, there should be a window that somewhere says whether you are 32 bit or 64 bit. I think that is what you are looking for.
