Bitphone Becomes First Bitcoin Phone Company, Skype Competitor

While Skype has proved to be a great leap in telecommunications, a new service called Bitphone is attempting to reinvent and improve how we communicate by using bitcoin as low-cost infrastructure and payment method for encrypted calls right from your browser.

Or you could use the actual decentralised solution (that doesn't cost any money)

It's not necessarily easy to setup, but you get free (i.e. network data costs only) ZRTP calls, and it can be made to work on Android supposedly. One day SIP Witch or something like it will be standard. We have to spread it ourselves before then, no-one seems to want to me to have a good deal and my privacy, except me. (i.e. no-one's better motivated than you to keep your phonecalls private and independent)
