Isis has revealed the city it is going to attack next

One by one, the cities around this Iraqi town have fallen. Fallujah. Ramadi. The walled community of Hit.

Islamic State fighters have slaughtered thousands of people as they have tightened their grip on Iraq’s western province of Anbar. But Haditha has remained an outpost of resistance.

Its local tribes and the beleaguered Iraqi army have fought doggedly in the face of persistent attacks. Perhaps even more important, the U.S.-led coalition and the Iraqi government have been determined to prevent its large hydroelectric dam from falling to the insurgents.

The title really got me, I thought they are going to attack the US or a country in EU, because people don't usually talk about this...

They probably won't say that, but the US is likely, IMHO.

Goodness. At this rate, ISIS will just end Iraq completely, as the Iraqi army won't have the moral to actually win fights against ISIS. Think about it. On one hand you have a group of fanatically loyal and devoted maniacs who have nothing to loose and everything to gain, and on the other side you have a demoralized army fighting for a country that shouldn't even exist. Hopefully the Kurds and the Christians will wear ISIS down.

ISiS = Saudis

That is the main backer of this movement and its interesting that we stay saddled up to them but at the same time open the door for Iran. Something big is coming imo.

If the NATO is not willing to send its ground forces to Iraq, then just request the Iranians to do the same. The NATO is neither fighting the ISIS, nor is it supporting those factions (such as the Kurdish Peshmerga, Hezbollah, Asa'ib Ahl al-Haq, Jaish al-Mahdī.etc) which are fighting the ISIS in Iraq and Syria. NATO is a deadweight, as far as the human civilization vs ISIS fight is concerned.

US can blow them up easily without any deal with other country. But, is there something that make US dont do that? There are many conspiracy theories about it, and I'm pretty sure there is something behind it.

The people of Haditha, though, are struggling to survive in a town largely cut off from the outside world.
Meanwhile, the Islamic State has singled it out as its next target.

You better ask youself why America would not destroy ISIS?  They have the power to do this. Same as they did with taliban in afganistan and with Saddam in Iraq. But they basically not doing anything. Why?

Obama came to power after promising an exit from Iraq. It would look bad if they admitted they exited too early and went back in again.

The US was caught up in a long multi-year operation in both Afghanistan and Iraq. Maybe they don't want to repeat it.

If the Americans really want to defeat the ISIS, then they can do it in a matter of weeks, if not days. But political considerations always comes first. If the ISIS is defeated, then the Assad regime and the Hezbollah will get stronger. Also, the Kurdish YPG will emerge as a major player in Northern Syria. The US (and its allies) don't want this situation.

That news really make me sad and angry. How is possible that all those developed nations cannot find a way to stop this cruelty in this age of technology and development. How is possible that are made several wars without meaning compare to the war against ISIS and no one cares abut the atrocities od these monsters. It is so hard to fight them and to destroy their stupidity and madness. I don't understand this. I will never understand this.

This whole thing has to do with Big Oil, and the propping up of the USDollar (the Petrodollar) with the oil fields of the Middle East.

Who knows the behind-the-scenes things that are happening? But the gist is that Iraq has to fall to the U.S. Big Oil interests the same way many other small nations in the M.E. have fallen... politically as well as actually.

Back in the mid '90s, the Kuwaiti Dinar dumped in value like the Iraqi Dinar did shortly after the Iraq war got going. U.S. politics in Kuwait was much healthier back then than what it ever has been in Iraq. Thus, shortly after the Kuwaiti Dinar dumped, it revived, being allied with the U.S. Dollar in the Big Oil arena. The U.S. is attempting to do this with Iraq. But it isn't working smoothly.

It was felt that Iraq would become politically aligned with the U.S. like almost a decade ago. The Iraqi Dinar would revalue like the Kuwaiti Dinar did in the mid '90s. But along with the M.E. political climate, the obstinacy of the M.E. people, combined with the American people being against the War, a decisive war was not able to be fought by Big Oil (U.S.).

Who knows what will ultimately happen? But if you ever see the Iraqi Dinar revalue so that it is near the same value as the U.S. dollar - currently, as of this writing, it takes 1190 Dinars to buy a Dollar, and this is fluctuating daily down to as low as 1130 Dinars to the Dollar - you will know that the U.S. and Big Oil have won Iraq.

If ISIS and the Middle East loyal people are able to maintain the fight long enough, the U.S. Dollar just might crumble as the world's Oil Dollar - Petrodollar. Probably Russia, and who knows what other countries (China covertly?), are helping ISIS.

It should be interesting.

It's not easy to destroy ISIS. USA are tired from to many wars made in these last years and don't prefer to begin another that is hard to be fight. To much money spent in war and USA were in crisis. ISIS is a monster thing. They use children and women to fight and to defend themselves. USA prefer to fight with aircraft and drones and don't prefer the fight in the ground. While ISIS in the fight in the ground have their point of force.

The Iraq army is sponsored by the U.S.  The reason that ISIS has the strength that it does against the Iraq army is, the people of Iraq and surrounding Middle East countries are against the U.S.

It is not the U.S. people who are attempting to conquer Iraq. It is the U.S. government, backed by Big Oil that is doing this. The U.S. people simply don't know what is going on, and how they might be losing if Big Oil gains more worldwide money control and oil control. Big Oil knows this about Americans, and they realize that if they push the U.S. government into destroying ISIS, the American people will figure out what they are doing, and will be totally against them - against Big Oil and the government.
