Well there are various places where you can get goods. It really depends on if you want to buy from the hardware manufacturer, online (i.e. Ebay/Amazon/etc.) or on forums such as this one.
You should definitely look in this section, as there seem to be a lot of miners often.

here on this forum. forget about retail channels (ebay, amazon..), because HW there is usually overpriced. best way is to spot somebody here in marketplace section selling whole farm and pick what you like.

anyway, alway use escrow if you will decide to buy HW here and also reconsider, if it is financially feasible. what is your electricity rate btw? (USD/kW)

If you want a new one just buy it from the company or buy it from amazon/ebay if you want a cheaper but used one.

well there is some profit to be made with that value, with 8 antminers s5 for example, your daily cost would be around $8.38, while your revenue would be 25.75, a net of 17 x30 = $500 a month

not bad, surely it's worth a shot
