Kind of if you talk about the current set. If you look into the future though, a save income makes it easier for new creative minds to fully commit their time to the project. Apart from that, Im in support of the move but also sceptical of the influence the "Platinum" members may have on the devs. I think no dev should be part of their board, rather in a supportive role.

Wikileaks, I hope that we will see more of those foundations in the near future, so what this particular one says or does cannot bring down the reputation of the whole project as easily (they sure have good intensions but no one is immune to scandals).
