I'm trying to find a list of all of the threads I've started. I remember seeing the feature in action before, but I can't remember where it was located.
Thanks in advance

I never see such feature, unless you can add your created threads to watchlist! Then you just click watchlist to see them.

There is no feature in this forum now. Maybe in other forum, or in the new forum software, but not at the moment

Even for Searching inbox I use that letter. bitcointalk shouldn't make the field compulsory. If there is no 'a' in a PM, I won't see it.

There is no feature for viewing a list of threads you created. Just put a letter 'e or a' which are most commonly used, in 'Search for' and enter your name in 'by user' and you'll see it. hope it helps. It will show all the posts you have made which contains letter e or a. But devthedev only want to see the threads he created.

Maybe there's a way to do it with google custom search.

It is working fine for me if do not tick on that option. Although the results does not show all threads I have made, only some of them which contain the letter I used to search but at least this is the best way to see the threads made by a user. So thanks to bitbaby for sharing this..

Another way to do this in the future would be to put an ender on the name of the thread , something like -dev121
And everytime you would do the search like suggested above, do it for the keyword dev121 and selecting yourself as thread starter. It should list all the names accordingly as long as different people aren't using the same keyword. But having a feature to directly search for all threads started by me would be an awesome feature.

Good idea. However, the others who are reading the thread might get confuse.

You might be getting confused with myBB. AFAIK myBB has a function on user profiles that allows you to see all threads created by a user, but I don't think SMF has a function similar to that.

That's where the problem is. There is no option to search by "topic starter". If so, it will be very easy to search for the topics started by a user. You can only search by "poster".

I meant in the field of " By User " while searching you can just put the normal username. And in the text field add dev121 which you could set at the thread title end. So in the picture below : You will put yourself in the By User field , and search for the term dev121.

I think this function should be added because it is really useful to the bitcointalk community, maybe theymos will add it in the next days (or months).
