Yes they are , mostly Blockchain.info because Coinbase is basically an exchange more then a wallet . But .. IT's not recommended to use them at all because It's online and you have no control on your private keys , If one of those websites gets hacked, your bitcoin are screwed . you may wanna use something like Electrum , Multibit or Bitcoin Core .

Yeah Blockchain.info is the most used webwallet. i personally recommend it to store bitcoins that are needed for daily transactions . For higher amounts go for dekstop wallet or cold storage as blockchain.info is online wallet, you have no control over private keys and if its gets hacked then you will loose all your hard earned coins .

Blockchain.info is good because you can obtain your own private key. It is never released to their servers or offices/employees etc (supposedly). They have suffered a few problems but as long as you have 2FA, a complicated password & get your private key you should be safe.
Coinbase are insured against bitcoin theft so you should be safe again.
They're both by far the best & most used online bitcoin wallets.

I don't know if blockchain.info and coinbase.com are the most used web wallets but I know that me and to many others I know have both wallets. I use mostly coinbase because with it doesn't pay fee when I send bitcoins but I have another in blockchain too. Iknow even that coinbase is used by million of peoples (I don't remember the exact number but i know that are millions). Counting that bitcoin is not known to much these figures are the most significant figures that testify that both those wallets are the most used wallets for the bitcoin.

yeah and i believe it is the first reason why there is a higher % of lost coins there, probably because the more ancient and offer the possibility to retrieve your private key as well as dumping a new one fairly easy
personally i don't use it i like core more

Ok thank you my friends for an instant answer Wow nice forum if you own bigger amounts of BTC, use cold storage or a hardware wallet: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=899253.0@LFC_Bitcoin i guess he will stay on satoshis path = bigger blocks = XT. Satoshi never wanted 1 MB blocks. that was just a temporary thing. at least i will do that.

Yeah blockchain and coinbase are the most used web wallets, but I reccomend you to have offline wallet because it's safer than web wallets

I don't want to see a split. I don't trust Hearn any way to be honest. I don't like a small number of people trying to hold so much power over bitcoin. I much prefer if we can stick with Core & just increase block sizes.

Yes, even i have a bc.i and coinbase wallet account. But it risky to store big amount there(web wallet or exchanger). Better to use a wallet which can be encrypted, https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet my recommend is use Electrum

Sure. Coinbase has millions of users. Blockchain too. Are the most reliable wallets. Coinbase is better than blockchain because have no fee when you send bitcoins. When you send bitcoins all the fees are supported and paid by the company (coinbase). What else can be asked from a such service?

yes. but it looks like blockchain.info is the most used online wallet and most used overall wallet between new users since it is easy to use and famous. also Coinbase is popular but i think the fact that you don't have access to your private keys might turn people around. always remember that the online wallets are the least safe wallets that you can use for keeping your bitcoins. because you are essentially relying on somebody else to keep your coins safe.

coinbase on the other hand is very slow, and both are online wallet, not reliable at all like every other online wallet, also blockchain apparently it is removed from bitcoin.org still among those web wallet that they have introduced bitgo appear to have faced some problem with one user at least so i'm not trusting any of those

It's amazing actually how many people uses these online wallets! The risk with these wallets is much, much bigger. I guess this is just unavoidable at the moment since they are the easiest to use. We really need to simplify and to improve security.
