Uh, is this even a legit Mike Tyson undertaking, or is someone just appropriating his image as a marketing gimmick?

awesome, Mike Tyson will be the rep of bitcoin ATM? Or is it his own brand?

They're not his. They belong to someone else he's just the publicity figure.

I think this is exactly what it is. Tyson will do pretty much anything for money these days and makes a living just from doin personal appearances and signings etc so I'm sure he just leased his name to these machines. Personally I don't care as any news is good publicity for bitcoin and gets us into the mainstream media again.

Mike Tyson will be like an endorser of a bitcoin company not the owner of a new coin, same like George Foreman selling a now famous grill which Hulk Hogan said it should have been him but he missed the phone call  Grin

What?? Is he saying he's going to launch his own brand of Bitcoin ATMs? Maybe they'll come with Mike Tyson's Punchout and if you can beat Tyson you'll get some free bits, like a faucet Wink

Plus 1,000,000 to Punchout idea.

I wonder if he will do a Bitcoin episode on Mike Tyson Mysteries?

perhaps if you can't beat Glass Joe you have to pays funds into the faucet...  Grin

Ouch, let's see MT gives us a big surprise, he helps to promote bitcoin, and he is the most famous boxer, we will see bitcoin will be 1500 USD.  Shocked

I think there are more Tyson haters than his fans, so Im not sure his movement in bitcoin can attract many people get into bitcoin too. His previous lifestyle and character wont make people trust him immediately. I'm pretty sure people would be more interested with bitcoin if the rep of bitcoin stuff is like Manny Pacquiao  Smiley

The man behind a Mike Tyson-branded bitcoin ATM in Las Vegas has defended the initiative after accusations it was a scam surfaced today. While some hailed the news as good PR for bitcoin,
questions about the legitimacy of the project soon surfaced following a closer look at the site's domain owner, Peter Klamka, and the project's partner, Bitcoin Direct LLC.
SiliconANGLE reporter Duncan Riley noted the patchy internet trail of Klamka's firm Bitcoin Brands Inc, an over-the-counter (OTC) stock with a market cap of just $6,780 and no visible product offerings.

Well Mike Tyson has rebranded himself pretty successfully in a funny likeable guy. He has a successful cartoon airing in Adult Network and his Broadway show was a success. He is no longer the guy that would make the entire room scared shirtless as he stepped in. I think he is a very likeable character nowadays.

In my opinion, this is good news for Bitcoin. Mike Tyson has somewhere around 4 - 5 million followers on twitter. It is nice to see someone with that many followers tweet about Bitcoin in a positive fashion.

I would like to see the current Mike Tyson's networth. He has been working a lot lately and has a huge movie coming with Jamie Foxx as the main character which is going to be a guaranteed hit delivering tons of profit.

its good to see that famous people write about it, though too bad we cant see any influence on the price when companies start to accept it or in other similar cases, anyone can tell my why is that happening?

Actually I never seen Mike Tyson as a funny person except in The Hangover, and most of people in my city still knowing them as a scary people who did bad things in the past. But yeah that would be great if he really could make people be attracted with bitcoin.

a lot of people from show-business are going to go to bitcoin. He's welcome to enter the market. Running an ATM network successfully isn't exactly all that easy. Best of luck

Set by atm owner.  Probably between 2-5% to be competitive w/ exchanges.
