So what happened to...

Overstock are they still taking it? That was big news

Expedia are they still taking it?

The FB twins what happened to them and their we're going public bs?

The FBI sales of btc, they dump it all?

The pirate guy that got busted, how did his case resolve?

THANKS if you can catch me up on all the old stories about btc.

The only thing I know is almost 2 years ago it was 1200 and most of the last year it's been way down.

I read about the stress tests and how nodes choked on minor volume if you compare that to what a real global currency would have to be able to do.

So what's the BIG HYPE now about btc other than Lucy Lui and Mike Tyson two nobodies in SM power today, said oh yeah Bitcoin.

Now if some SM nitwits like KK and her husband and maybe even kimdotcom said bitcoin all in, that could create a wave.

How about if Miley Cyrus too a big fake gold btc coin to the VMA's and put her long tongue on it and licked it.

Now that could create a nice pop in btc value

Justin Bieber or Taylor Swift saying here's my own song and you need to send me some btc to buy it

A big celeb in the SM world could created huge impact on btc

So I've seen some minor celeb talk on the forum, but I'm too lazy to research all the old topics, so ...

As for celebs I don't any of that you mentioned happening anytime soon... I think the biggest thing to happen celeb-wise this year has been the #Dope Movie - it's a hip movie, that actually features Bitcoin pretty heavily. It was the first movie for which you could buy tickets using Bitcoin, P. Diddy produced it and A$AP Rocky stars in it. FWIW.

Rumor is the Yakuza is very much still around and a part of business in Japan, if Mark had them in on it, it could explain the reason he hasn't been arrested yet as it should be a no brainier.

If the Yakuza was in on it, Mark would have been in jail and the Bitcoins in Yakuza's wallet.
They would basically find a way to encriminate Mark while they held on to the coins - for safe keeping of course

It's not all Doom and Gloom in the world of Bitcoin. When you were around, the regulations were a mere rumour, now it's a reality.
Banks and other financial institutions ignored Bitcoin, and now they are investing into the Blockchain.
Bitcoin/Blockchain topped the VC investment charts, for being the best technology to invest in.

Things are looking very bright on the adoption and transaction volumes too.

The other things like Silkroad and the transaction spamming is just a little bump in the road. We have seen a lot worse and we are still around.
