Rank doesn't matter, there is no difference of a legendary member asking a 100btc loan from a newbie that is asking the same amount and I agree with you, caution should be exercised when dealing with large amounts.

What collateral are you offering?

If you are serious about getting the loan and the collateral is something that will actually protect the lender then it would probably be advisable to use escrow to hold the collateral.

His account is just created today and he don't disclose what he will give us as collateral. Also there're only few of us have 100 BTC and willing to risk them to a single lender. If that collateral is something worth a lot (like, gold or house), you may get a loan at a local financial company. There are lots of them around (at least in my city).
