~3500mh/s online for the next 14 days. This puts average time to find a block at ~40 days.
If we could get another 6.5 gh/s --- we could bring our average time to find a block down to 14 days. C'mon folks, lets get it done.
Noticed a 2.5gh/s discrepency between the pool owners hashing numbers and reported statistics. I'm out.
This has been resolved to my satisfaction, turns out some software needs updating, and I wasn't reading as carefully as I thought.

We're now at ~8.5GH/s total right now, keep 'em coming!

The shares are logged, the front end is ~1 year old, which Xenland (the original developer) and I worked together on patching back together for it to work, so there could be some bugs in it. I'm not sure how you calculated a 2.5 GH/s discrepancy; but I'd really like to figure out your math.

example at this time:
overall network statistics reports: 4080 mh/s for the pool. You're listed on top hashers this round ~90 mh/s.
Last round lists your total shares at aprox 2600 thats in the 1000 mh/s range.
-----
If it turns out buggy I'll retract my prev post. What's your actual hash rate?

I know it's slightly buggy because I only hash at 68 MH/s on average 68837 khash/s 68830 khash/s 68784 khash/s 68817 khash/s 68755 khash/s 68765 khash/s 68817 khash/s 68781 khash/s 68844 khash/s 68831 khash/s 68723 khash/s 68810 khash/s 68861 khash/s 68706 khash/s 68860 khash/s 68800 khash/s and it shows me at 90-100 at times. The shares are accurate, but I do not believe that the graphs are.

actually that sounds normal pool guesses hash rate based on submitted shares or getwork rate... and both can vary.
So what I'm not understanding is... when I'm at ~3500 mh/s and another user is at ~3500 mh/s and our shares are in the 8000 to 9000 range... meanwhile your shares are close to 2500 and you're only hashing at 60mh/s
My first reaction was, that you've somehow inflated your shares.

Nope. I'm honestly not doing anything to pad my shares or do anything devious; you were showing popping around from 2GH/s to 3.5GH/s while the other user was around 4-5GH/s (more around 4.5GH/s) from the statistics area on the website. I'm not sure what other information I could give you to settle your nerves.. but I can provide as much as possible if you still believe I'm padding. -EDIT- You did mention the 2.5K~ shares, which is my accumulated total shares, so perhaps you got that number mixed up with the shares this round?

<Graet> ;;bc,calc 2400000 <gribble> The average time to generate a block at 2400000 Khps, given current difficulty of 2864140.507811 , is 8 weeks, 3 days, 7 hours, 46 minutes, and 19 seconds when you find a block the hoppers will come for 43% of the next block then leave the "regular" miners to finish it off. Proportional is a flawed payout system that is exploited by "strategic miners" and "regular miners" lose out It is well documented in these forums. https://bitcoil.co.il/pool_summary.pdfhttps://bitcoil.co.il/pool_analysis.pdfshould be required reading for anyone considering opening a pool

Also, with the new website update, we'll be able to reward users using a double Geometric standard, which I do believe you also use. Again, yes, this is my first non P2Pool server I've been running, there are some learning curves that we will be adjusting to. Potentially outdated required reading material already has been browsed, but again, a lot of this will possibly change in the next few months due to ASIC's along with us changing our reward system as well.
The first and foremost important thing on our pool is that we're upgrading our website along with our reward system and potentially adding a PPS service on top of this all. I may be, "late in the game" for opening a pool, but the more pools that are available the more decentralized Bitcoin will be.
There's a lot of variable that will change and for the fact that the documentation provided is over a year old, I find it hard to rely on those statistics when so many things have/will change over the course of the past year and the next few months to come.Information given has proven this wrong. Thanks Graet for the info!

In my opinion, keep going at it, the reward right now you'll receive will be quite good seeing the total shares you have. Again that 43% in 2 months time will ultimately not affect the following block, since our website will be updated by then with new payout/reward systems.

I trust you're not going to be changing the reward system mid-round? At this moment, you are a hopper - this early in a round the shares have a higher expected yield. My mining at all at this point is however a gamble that gibbyd-btc can find enough miners to actually solve a block in some reasonable timeframe... I'll be turning off at 100k shares.
