I am seeing this theymos as the high lord of bitcoin discussions round here. Many say that theymos has this or that opinion.
What is theymos's opinion on altcoins?
Is there a successor to theymos?, should heaven forbid, something happen to him.
Are there other royal bitcoin families seeking to take the iron throne of btt and reddit bitcoin?
And what is your opinion of how theymos treats his subjects?

Theymos controls bitcointalk and r/bitcoin which are very important communication outlets for Bitcoin. As far as I know he is not interested in altcoins. As for his successor, I'm not sure if anyone has the power to take over if something happens. Even if he had given someone such power/right he would keep it secret. He's very professional and helpful. I would say that this thread should be in meta.

I suggest reading meta. But Theymos has been trusted with the forum... a big task. And he keeps it online and even plans for a big update. There is no doubt he is intrusted with a lot. But considering amount he watches over seems like a good pick as no problem over BTC from forum or other possible problems.

I am pretty sure things are setup to switch ownership to the Trustees in case anything happens to him. This isn't about thrones. This is about being trustworthy, trusted and responsible to run things in an unbiased manner.

BadBear does a lot for the forum. I know he is always very busy with it. But he always gets back to you once he gets to your issue. I hope is high on the list. Anything he get's is well earned.

Thanks for the link. Been looking for that for years. Incredibly informative. Especially loved the Story section. just stay with Bitcoin and Lightcoin and Dash and Dogcoin and MadSaintCoin and Stella and BitSharks and Pearcoin and Bitecoin and Addresscoin and Thermoscoin and - these are the maincoins. all other coins are pretty tiny.
Fixed that for you.

I think he is also only one to hold the private key that can send alert messages. Satoshi originally had it and still has it I guess if he is still around. He passed it to Hal who in turn left it to Theymos.

Those people are kept secret, but it is known that Theymos, Gavin, and Satoshi hold the key. Others do to, probably including most if not all of the core dev.

theymos is the main man entrusted with bitcointalk.org by our leader Satoshi. He runs this forum & supposedly plans a major upgrade which he has received millions worth of dollars in bitcoin in forum donations but has yet to do so.
I happen to believe he is trustworthy from what I've read but I've had no dealings with him personally.

I keep hearing this, but I never found anything that seemed to indicate that satoshi entrusted the forum to theymos. if anyone can give me a link to some post or whatever I'll be grateful.
