What would be cool is a whole Bitcoin Casino in Vegas! Imagine doing all your gambling and winning all your winnings in bitcoin! Why is this not a thing already?

Would definitely be cool to not have to use quarters to do the gambling , but its more fun that way. One possible reason could be that the machine will have to be connected to the internet thus hacking is a risk.

Probably has to do with the slow adaptation of technology. Or it could be something to do with the gaming commission. But further down the road who knows what could happen. If more people use btc I think there will be a chance you will see btc slot machines.

It would be cool but due to regulations and the legal troubles behind bitcoin itself, it would be too much hassle for the casinos.
Plus very small percentage of people actually have bitcoins on them in person. So it wouldnt apply to most visitors to vegas.

They could put the Bitcoin slot machine right next to Mike Tyson's Bitcoin ATM

Some might have started adopting cash for token. One thing I remember was the high fees charged by ATM's to cash money out of cards , it was around 20% or more I believe and the whole strip had only 1 BoA ATM on it. They benefit a lot by taking cash and hence the probable reason to do so.

Its a cool idea, one thing why they haven't done it yet is maybe they feel without actual coins the machines are not so fun. The sound of the coins pumping out the machine when you win. Or the feel of the coins when you load up another credit etc.

bitcoin is not so widely used now, it will be in the near future - 3-5 years, when many people know and use bitcoin. Maybe we will see real btc slot machine in Vegas.

There are no bitcoin accepting casinos on the strip as far as I'm aware but there are some casinos in DownTown Vegas that accept bitcoin. Some info here - http://www.coindesk.com/las-vegas-casino-ceo-bitcoin-new-business/

I think there must be some legal factors which stop people from putting any sort of slot machines or any other game for that matter which involves Bitcoins since it is still in a grey area. What I want to see is Casinos accepting Bitcoins worldwide and it will make things so much easier, you walk into a Casino, you send coins from your mobile wallet to the Casino's Chip machine, it spills out the chips of the equivalent value, you play as long as you want to play and after that you go to the cash counter and give them your BTC address and they send you your winnings.

Offcourse, there are enough gambling opportunities online that accept BTC... I've never been to las vegas myself, but i guess it would be cool to see a physical bitcoin slot machine in the future

it will be really fun , but I think US government won't let that happen I see that the US government hates btc , so I don't think that they will let casinos offer it they are making huge profit from the taxes that casino pays so I think they will keep the gambling traditional with the USD I hope to hear more about this from a US resident

Ask the Las Vegas Casinos..
I mean seriously the simple answer to this is there is not much demand for it, the Gamblers are happy in Las Vegas with how things are and Casinos don't really see much potential or demand for it, so they don't bother with it.
But instead of asking this question here the best thing any one can do is when you visit some Las Vegas Casinos or any Casinos/Services for that matter, ask them if they accept Bitcoins and how you would prefer to pay using it, plant the idea in their head and maybe you'll see it happening one day.

The number of people using bitcoin to bet is very low. It does not make sense to install a bitcoin slot machine when not many people are using.
