no one will miss Bitcoin as a currency and financial medium, because Bitcoin does not need anyone else, it works already on its own and it is designed to do so.
The question is who will miss bitcoin/blockchain as a technology, and at the moment it seems like everyone is missing it. It is like web 2.0, you can build every kind of application on top of it. Communication industry is not considering it, the legal sector (smart contracts, etc) only started to consider bitcoin as a currency and it is far behind in considering it as technology, the financial sector is totally not getting it (they are speculating on it and incorporating bitcoin as if it were another stock to trade instead of just using it as a resource), the IT sector just started researching about it, and so on. The blockchain could be the next paradigm in pretty much every sector, and every current big player in every field is ignoring it, thus missing it. From the new paradigm a new group of big companies will emerge and they will either bury the old ones, or they will relegate them as marginal competitors (like the ones who missed the revolutions mentioned by you and who now are just struggling to copy innovations made by others just to barely stay afloat)
