I'm verified on PayPal, and am happy to go through a middleman if you know one (I'm not sure if this prevents chargeback, you'd have to tell me. I've never done it before so idk how it works)

I have $170 on PayPal, and would like $150 (0.5065) in bitcoin, according to Preev.
The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

I'm struggling to find a PayPal deal for $5, let alone $170 with 1 post. Good luck, but you're almost certainly going to be put into the "do not trade/possible scammer" bracket.

Ah, didn't realize I'd be better off with smaller amounts :/

I think you miss the point Tongue
PayPal is a very risky way to buy Bitcoin for the seller. You could buy the Bitcoin and then ask PayPal for a refund in 2 weeks, which they would give you no questions asked.

With such a large sum of money, why don't you just do moneygram/western union?

Go on virwox. 88usd/24hrs to start. You'd get fully cashed in after 24hrs.

As mentioned above, you could try virwox, but there is no way I would trade that much money PayPal for bitcoin. The transaction is easily reversible.

Signatures? How about learning a skill... I don't care either way. Everybody has to make a living somehow.

you are showing all signs of a scammer you just made this account to post this thread and you mentioned your paypal is verified which will not help in anything for the seller of btc

you talked about middle man which can not help you if you have chargeback scam in your mind

why dont you go for localbitcoins or virvox ?

LocalBitcoins is a good service, I've used them before. You'll need to take a photograph of ur ID for most sellers though, however. This is to filter out scammers.
