I lent kingkatari 31 btc on 8/5/2012 at 9% per month, to be paid on the 10th of each month in an amount no less than $60 USD.  I believe 2 others made identical loans to him on that date.  his current balance with me is 36.8311 btc.

he solicited the loan and the terms were his idea.

Not only has he disappeared, missing 2 payments (100% failure rate), with an implausible story about getting hit by a semi truck and being in the hospital (his 'wife' logged onto IRC to reveal this), but he does not respond to emails or phone calls.

I see he is active again on bitcointalk and his twitter.

people should be aware that he is a scammer.

bounty available:  25% of debt (current total: 40.145899 BTC)

kingkatari owes me 31 BTC principle + 9.145899 BTC in interest (and 9% more each 5th of the month)

I would like to recover 75% of the total debt, 25% is yours.

I believe he has mining equipment that you might be interested in, in lieu of BTC.

KingKatari also owes me 31 BTC + 9% interest/month with the same terms as fbastage's loan. I will match fbastage's bounty of 25%.

I got a slightly different number after calculating interest: 39.44126280 BTC owed ( 31*(1.09^2.79452055), the latter number (2.79...) being the number of months since my original loan on August 4, 2012.)

If yer in the Greater Toronto Area and lookin for some off-the-books work, I might have some stuff needing done at the condo i just bought... you may not be able to work full time/pro any more, but i'm sure you can still swing a screw-gun, trowel and mud float...

That's the same information where I mailed a video card.

how recent was the video card sent?

Right before he disappeared he was allegedly in the process of moving.  that was one of the reasons for needing the loan.

here's the information relating to my loan (log of agreement) and various bits of info I have found: http://pastebin.com/ijFAP2zk

Thanks.

I was one of 3 people that gave him nearly identical loans of 31 (terms may vary slightly), so the amount owed is approximately 3 times what I have listed (star soccer and gladamas, though they may be accruing/calculating interest slightly differently).

Each of us has offered a 25% bounty on amounts recovered.

This is not including amounts he owes Distribution or other people.

fbastage,

Nice work

I didn't even see that link.  That's good stuff.  Post that here in the thread with links.  Makes it Googleable.
