It is hackathon where you build apps in 2 day event. We will be there to mentor developers. Not sure if its open for all. Will ask organizers and will get back to you.

May I know if there is any attending cost ? Is it going to be seminar or some kinda platform for product showcasing ? It is already stated at the end of the quoted article... Participation is free and open to members who register. The registration is open until July 31 and the number of participants is restricted. |

Thanks, did manage to find the link before, just that hadn't heard about it until today, and couldn't find any pre-event announcement before yesterday. Seems similar events also happened in other countries these past few months. |

Not sure if any write up is around, but there was a 5hr session detailing the blockchain by Robert and Jeff from blockchain university. Had about 30 people in the room.

Some famous people in the bitcoin community have started a startup called 'BlockChain University'.
They go around the world, offering a paid crash course on bitcoin, which is actually a course on how to use blockchain API etc to build bitcoin 2.0 applications.
After the course they organize a hackathon, so people can build apps based on what they have learned.
Last week they conducted the course at Infosys.
Now the BSE.
The hackathon at BSE is a part of global hackathon that anyone can participate in, this weekend. Physically it is happening in 3 locations around the world - Mumbai, Buenos Aires, San Fransisco - but anyone can participate online by joining their slack channel. Search for it on meetup.com ; it's called "Decentralize All The Things"
Twitter handle is @BlockchainU which has many pics from the Infy hackathon.
Personally, I like this but it is funny to me for various reasons.

Saw a big camera during the Blockchain Sessions. Also saw Robert recording a whole bunch of stuff on his phone. Will mail him and ask if he can share some clips, especially of the pitches. |
