BTC MMO

So I am making a browser based mmo similar to world of warcraft or dragons tale, but different.
as of now I only have a crew of 2 working on this (it's very much in its infancy)

We have big plans for this game (in the works in text and conversation for about 5 months now)

I'm not really wanting to put the site link just yet, just wanted to try to get some input on this vague idea.

I'm always interested in another btc mmo but what makes yours different compared to Dragons Tale? They already have a lot of games, free satoshis, etc. You need to differentiate your mmo somehow

and I totally agree!

This MMO will have pvp battles and more in depth quests/missions as well as tasks that once completed earns free coins ect.
we are talking lots of time and money needed for this project.

as is, I have nothing to invest as of yet (working on it)
I only have one other person working with me on this project and he has a full time job so his time is limited to say the least.

I have much MUCH more to add here over time that will give more insight. check back.

As you said above about your plans, it will be easier to advise you if you let us know some of you plans so that it will not be a repetitions however make sure your browser game is mobile phone compliant and also get it properly monetized.

I don't believe it has earned the "massive" part of that acronym yet  , but it looks promising

What technology will you be using for the MMO frontend? Flash or Unity? I've always wanted to build a game, but never really got around to it.

It's nice idea, although there are some MMO game which more popular. I'm waiting for the link.

Perhaps you could work with the guys porting Vanguard Saga of Heros MMO and implement bitcoin. This game was amazing! and was the best MMO I had ever played, but then sony took it down. It did have its bugs (like any mmo), but I think it just wasn't advertised enough and competed against WoW which had significantly bigger fan base and advertising budget. I know you want to create your own mmo but to be honest I doubt anything substantial will come of it, prove me wrong by all means. Just thinking that if you teamed up with these guys, you guys could be a real asset. Bitcoin could really give VSAH a real popularity boost it needed.

I have always loved MMOs and I think intergrating btc into one is a great idea. Maybe you could copy WOW system in which you can sell in-game currency(gold) for fiat currencies like dollars,euros,etc. but to swap fiat with bitcoin.
