Is there a way to follow someone here on the forum? Notification when they post?

I was searching for the same thing days ago, and then i realized that, no. You can't

My reasoning actually isn't negative as you might think. There are some people on here who always give out free stuff or are super nice when they're around (I think theres one account we all know of bigtime who recently came back from a long hiatus...).

Anyways darn. If someone develops a script that is successful for it, SOMEONE TRUSTWORTHY please let me know.

I don't come on the forums that much anymore so yeah.

only way is follow certain topic if you want to follow certain user otherwise you wont be able to do it.

When I want to follow a user, I'll memorize his/her username, then Google him/her (like if you search 'el kaka22' at Google, the first result comes out will be my bitcointalk profile). Then check for his/her last posts. You will see that user's newest posts on top. That's how I've followed another user in the past.

Same thing here, but I realized that memorizing the user ID would save you some time in searching the name of the bitcointalk profile in a search engine. Idk but I find it more convenient than typing the name of the user (especially if it's a long and sometimes unintelligible.)
