Is it possible to have some sort of 2fa as extra security on a paper wallet?
I know the private key is visable but can it be done so just in case the paper wallet wasn't ceated safely?

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

I have never seen there is 2fa with paper wallet! Why not create brain wallet and make the private key encrypted with passphrase? It provides extra security for your wallet!

I am sure my paper wallets are very secure, they have been created using a Mycelium entropy, once printed on a recomended offline  printer i then do as they say and turn the printer off for a couple of minutes to clear any memory.

Im not tech savy as they say in any way but what i was thinking is that if anyone did get my paper wallet and scan the private key could it be setup so they would then need to enter a 2fa code sent via sms to a mobile number or 2fa app?

The only way i know how to get around this so far is to create a 2 of 3 paper wallet.

Brainwallets is not the ideal method to generate Bitcoin as it is a hassle to generate a truly random address and they don't provide a QR code for the address which is troublesome to enter into the wallet. You can easily download bitaddress.org to an offline computer and use it there.

I am not sure about any apps offering 2FA for paper wallets. The only possible ones is greenwallet.it and blockchain.info. The possible problem is losing your 2FA key and it can't be restored if you're not using a third party hosted wallet.

Are you kidding?  Huh
Paper wallets nothing but, write down your BTC address and its private key manually into a (physical, which can be touched) paper. So how to set 2fa to that paper?  Shocked
But there is a way, that ask any bank to store that paper with locker Tongue might be more secured than 2fa
