for the tldr people:

the news source stated that Karpeles has not yet been charged with any crimes, meaning he could be detained for up to 23 days before a formal charge without the possibility of bail.

the discussion is about him being charged by fraud in the future, not him being arrested, but ok if the mods want merge or delete this topic

They arrested him without formal accusation???

This is worse than USA, at least to detain someone without accusations you need to make fake terrorism accusations
