It's sad to think that these people really fall for these kind of obvious scams. @OP - open a dispute and escalate it to a claim quickly. Provide the best information you can provide to guarantee your success rate. |

Today I conducted a similar trade with another new user "iamalive". These accounts may be owned by the same person as they operate a VERY similar scam. Iamalive was asking me to close the PayPal case so he could refund me (which is BS, don't do it) so if John20 is doing the same, they are the same person and should be linked together in there feedback ratings. Let me know and I'll edit mine for iamalive.

That is so weird. It is almost like these people are.......the same person. As I mentioned in my PM to you, use escrow even when sending PayPal. It does not take very long to cash out stolen PayPal funds so even if you win the dispute (this is far from a guarantee), there is a good chance they will receive spendable funds as a resulting from their scam. |

I should have, but it was a PayPal transaction so I could reverse it if I needed to, which is a pretty big flaw in his scam |

You should try Wesellcrypto.com It's the most trusted Paypal to crypto exchange. I've received my coins in seconds after making the purchase. They only exchange Paypal to alt coins (such as XPY, DOGE, etc) but then you could exchange them to BTC if you want (in an exchange such as Cryptsy).  |

If you take action right before the user spends the money, then you can get your money back. |
