i bricked this router and i cant unbrick it.. its just waiting to be used in construction of your new house or patio or whatever. or you can unbrick it and enjoy some wifi.. the choice is yours!
shipping from nyc.. asking for 0.06btc w/ domestic us shipping
pics on request

i can also offer 0.06 btc for someone to fix it .. i can provide shipping both ways

because the chipset is a Marvell
they seem to have no jtag for it.
If they did have jtag i could USBJTAGNT it and reflash the firmware for you but that is not a option

depends on how bricked the router is.
have you tried to do any of the tricks to get it to reply to pings.
If you can get the unit to talk to a pc via ping then u might have a option to save it

no that will not work.

what i would have to do is remove the NAND chip from the router then inplant it to a device like this : http://www.ebay.com/itm/MCUmall-Canada-GQ-Brand-PRG-120-GQ-5X-NAND-Flash-High-Speed-Programmer-TSOP48-/121632222595

they do have option devices i was just showing the type of device it is.

the $5 ones are just JTAG programmers that u need to connect to a JTAG and u need JTAG commands to talk to the chipset. due to the chipset not having that jtag you cant just connnect that device.

yea thats more than i paid for the router.. i'd have no use for it after u use it.. i could subsidize one if you decide to get it, but i doubt thats the case
anyways thank you very much for the insight.. i'll go do some stuff with my brand new brick.. maybe smash some things

another option would be to find some one that can flash a NAND with the firmware of that router and send you the chip in the mail. then i can lift the bad chip and reinstall the new chip.
