Considering how small bitcoin is in terms of users and the median amount of money per user that they have in bitcoin its still really early years. I think if you are looking 20 years out you're looking more like 10-100+ times its current value

The rates are decent, and you cant complain where its at for what its been through.

Esp the early times with bad horrbile exchanges like we know it, and still climbing should be noted. Its in the early breach of 300ish, which allows all of us holding the coin can get something decent or to pay a extra bill since the value is at a decent rate.

This must be presented to the authorities when a tax raid takes place, otherwise it is considered money laundering where transactions take place but taxes aren't recorded. There are taxes related to bitcoin too, and people should look up to it, if they are going to be involved in such practices.

Im sure and its pretty guaranteed at this point Bitcoin is insanely undervalued and not owning a couple of them minimum renders you mentally insane, but im not sure if we will see it actually being used massively, but rather being used while people dont even know they use it (infrastructures running under it). For somebody in his 60s or 70s, they might be looking at an investment which is stable and generate steady income. So they will let the young hotheads gamble, while they invest their money in government securities. Can't blame them.

Let's just wait & see, you must have patience & be willing to HODL maybe without any real joy for a long time. Buy yourself a stash of coins, put them in cold storage & HODL for maybe 10 years. Realistically we're not going to the moon yet but you could find your prediction to be true in 10 years or so. It's worth a shot, just don't expect quick resilts, average joe isn't ready right now.

It's always amusing to see people conflate bitcoin's success with the "average joe's" awareness or adoption of bitcoin. Despite the mind-numbing, idiotic rhetoric of the self-appointed bitcoin "thought leaders" (with the exception of a few), did it occur to you that maybe bitcoin is not for the average joe? Has the average joe's lack of awareness of any number of financial products, luxury products, or really anything that isn't shit, hurt the success of said product?

I always like to think that Bitcoin isn't suited *yet* for the average Joe. I'm sure there will be some new service that will make Bitcoin much easier to use.

I think it is not correct. One do not have a any clear picture about what will happen to bitcoins after couple of years then how we can say it a best investment of the century? Prices are not controlled by any system but it is controlled by people hence no guaranty of the future. Only we can buy small portion of bitcoins and sell when prices go high to make some profit. One shouldn't invest in bitcoins for long term perspective because prices are very volatile. Just imagine people who brought bitcoins at 1000+ usd so bitcoins are not for long term investments.

Yes bitcoin is not a best investment for any long term. We can just buy for small quantity and take the price movements advantages. Do not go for long.

i doubt of this century because last years bitcoin was called the worst investment of the year, maybe we really need to wait until fees era to have something good from bitcoin

but i actually don't care too much, because i'll use bitcoin regardless of it going mainstream or not, because i like the way money can be transfered with it, and the fact that no one can know how many money you are holding with bitcoin...

It is to be honored your faith in bitcoin. I don't know if your have materialize your desire buying bitcoin in big amounts or yours it is only a conviction without having any bitcoin in your wallet. If it is the first option God helps you my friend because the thoughts say that bitcoin will go high and every coin will worth to much in the times to come. But are thoughts and not facts or things which for sure will happen. Anyhow you, in this case, deserve maximal respect.  If you are the second case you must be considered as a dreamer and only this.
