My question about audit : Was the auditor paid for his work, and how much ? How much time was needed to do the audit ?

There has been some discussion in other threads about the statement that PoSA3 code closely follows previous code. As I understand it, previous work was not completed and working code was not available. Would you mind expanding on that statement a bit?

Is there any risk to loose our coin during a PoS3 transaction ?
for example a POS3 node gets offline while processing the transaction.
