Hi guys! If this is in the wrong forum please move it. I just hit the lotto and solo mined 25 BTC and being one of those "crazy Christians" (almost a swear word anymore, I guess!) I'll be donating 10% to charity. I'd like to support a reputable charity with a BTC donation but I can't seem to find one. Have any of you charitable folks seen a good, reviewed charity that accepts BTC? Thanks in advance! -Hodedowe Edit: Please no offers to donate to your mother's friend's dog's fictitious operation. Not gonna happen lol. But nice try

You can donate to the red cross here https://bitpay.com/520663/donateor you can donate to dabs and let him donate to the charity organization in his country, here is the topic https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=300631.0Im not sure if the Bitcoin address in dabs thread is the one to send to so you can ask him via PM first, beware of imposter and PM that pretend to be a charity edit : jayce give out dabs link first before me

There is also CESHEO a school in Cambodia who I have donated to before. They accept dogecoin, and I am sure would also likely be up for bitcoin. They also have a great initiative to provide education http://www.ceshe.org/donate.html

Do you really want to fund the charity or you just attract people here to look how much you have got? No offense, I'm just curious

It doesn't get bigger than the United Way. I think they are the largest charity in the U.S. (world?). They also have a solid reputation and pass on donations to groups they have vetted. You may be interested. http://www.unitedway.org/get-involved/ways-to-give/donate-bitcoin
