inner here Wink techy, nerd, geek, web marketing, web hosting, design, coding, loves long walks on the beach and prefers to pay in bitcoins for wine.

I've built 2 rigs already @ 1.2 ghash/s and im loving it. Bitcoin + beer (purchased with bitcoins) + pizza = awesome.

Chow!
Nice 2 rigs

I am from the southern USA.  I heard about Bitcoin about 3 months ago, an I dismissed it immediately.  "Yet another internet money".  Naturally I looked into it and saw what really was and how it worked.  Despite pressure not to get involved I bought some when PayPal was still being used.  I then started mining.  I am at 2Gh/s now.  I would have been better off just buying, but mining has been fun.

I am a computer scientist and electrical engineer.  I work on robots and sensors mostly.  In my spare time I build imposing allamagoosas like Tesla Coils and electronic whirligigs.  I however know little of php and the like so it is taking a while to get my web store up.  I would price thing based on how difficult it was for me to mine coins, not MtGox.

I also perform in the theater and I create elaborate Halloween displays.

Hello all, I made the "Unimpressed by MtGOX" thread. I put in a a very large sum of money. It has been over 48 hours, a number of rallies, and I still don't have my money on my mtgox account after being told it would be up shortly. I am highly frustrated by this and have essentially missed out on nearly doubling my money. Every moment that passes feels like watching money burn.

Damn... I remember the glory days when I thought 11.5 was a tragic jump up from the 8.5 I was on the edge of buying as I waited for my wire transfer to go through to Paxum (No dwolla in Canada). Then it did and I sent it to mtgox. Then the last 48 hours happened.

In other news, people on this forum seem quite mature and generally well spoken. =)

Sounds like you went through the dwolla route.

=]

I'll keep my politics out of your economics if you keep your economics out of my politics.
