Since this has little to do with bitcoin, and is political and thus highly divisive, can we agree that this doesn't belong on the forum? In the very least, it should be in the off-topic section.
It's not that I'm personally offended or anything, because I could probably spew out 5000 terrible, borderline-incomprehensible words in support of either viewpoint on this article. I'm so good a building straw men and killing them that they call me "Scarecrow Killa" back in the hood.
I just have seen far too many forums become politicized one way or another thus essentially losing half of their members and half of all prospective members. That's a high cost to pay for a growing community in allowing heavily charged and unrelated content to take over. Also, while we're under the watchful eye of the media, who would love to be able to pidgeonhole bitcoin users as a certain archetype, this can't be good for the cause.
Did I say "pidgeonhole?" I meant "cornhole." Wait, no I meant "pidgeonhole."
Rabbithole? Okay, some kind of hole-based-action is involved here, that I am sure of.
