How to Install Bitcoin wallet on the External driver? i want install 2 different wallet in my computer.
1. Drive C:\ as usual
2. External HDD (Cold storage)

I think you can set datadir e.g bitcoin-qt.exe" -datadir=e:\BitcoinData

Isnt it just possible to install the Wallet on the external with blockchain data?
Hmm, otherwise maybe u can just use the Blockchaindata just from ure external drive?

Yes it would require OP to have the blockchain twice. IMHO its easier to just copy pasta the wallet file its hardly a cold wallet anyway if the machine used is not kept offline.

what do you think about install new windows to external driver and install bitcoin-qt.exe in external windows?

just copy paste the blockchain data and point your config file (on your main hdd, not external) to the external hdd.

just download blockchain and once it will be done, simply move (or copy) BitcoinData dir to new location and change launcher:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Bitcoin\bitcoin-qt.exe" -datadir=d:\BitcoinData

could even install bitcoin core on it with the block chain and create a little .bat or shortcut aslong aa you keep the drive letter the same it wjll work
