I was buyer only on localbitcoins, i never received any btc from any user on lcb, all btc in my
account is my own which i deposited.  Yesterday my account was blocked without any reason,
i cant sell btc, i cant withdraw, support ticket still post me same auto-answers, they not
read my questions, they banned me on forum, they deleted my topic on forum, they want id and
verify account. But what if i not want send id to any site on web? I never sent my id to web.
My btc here are gone forever? On paypal you will receive your money after 180 days, if account
is blocked, i sent this question to localbtc forum and support, nobody answered me, instead of
this they deleted my topic on forum, and support still write: we need id. I sent answer what if
not send id, they answered you need to send id.
Still same answer to all tickets. Lcb is scam now and randomly blocking account with btc inside.

1) you say it happened yesterday.. well unlike trillion dollar establishments called banks. localbitcoins is not a 24-7 support system, so be patient
2a) you start by saying they blocked for no reasons and dont reply to messages, 2b)but then rant that they keep telling you that you need ID... a or b must be a lie.
3) if 2b is the truth, that they have asked for ID. and it has been less than 24 hours... then you have quickly jumped on the scam calling band wagon, a bit too quick.

4) be patient and more importantly be polite when contacting them. inform them to just send the funds back. politely.
5) politely ask them what their terms are to reimburse customers who have funds locked in the service
6 be polite. and patient. and again polite.

I DO NOT TRADE OR ACT AS ESCROW ON THIS FORUM EVER.
Please do your own research & respect what is written here as both opinion & information gleaned from experience. many people replying with insults but no on-topic content substance, automatically are 'facepalmed' and yawned at

@OP Someone might have reported your account. You need to wait at least 24 hours to get anything resolved on LBC. What was your last action on LBC before the block took place ?

I can't publicly explain issues that are specific to each account as that would be breaking the privacy policy of our website, but I can say we do not block accounts without reason.

buying using paypal in local bitcoin is not that easy..
they have requirements the one is you need to send id
for the security of the seller..because of the charge back
if you already send money and dont receive the bitcoin you can ask for the seller to issue refund..
and also you can file in paypal..and you  can guranteed you will get your refund
sometimes you need to follow there requirement..

they blocked my account yesterday in morning, i not known about this, because i not read mail everyday, so in afternoon i deposited money to my account, and this is the locked btc, and they not want return this btc, but why? why same answers in support ticket?? why deleted topics on lcb forum and banned my account??  I WANT ONLY MY STOLEN DEPOSITED BTC FROM YESTERDAY, THATS ALL. What if i not send my id, deposited will be lost and im just scammed?

sorry but i dont use localbitcoin because im aware in there rules..
but for you if you want get back your money try to send id to there site..
and after you send and you dont get your bitcoin back
i will help you to tell other member that there site is scam..
by the way if your exchanging bitcoin for other currency bitcointalk have there exchange section..
they are so many reputable exchanger here.. but also they have there own rules..
and also use escrow for more safe transaction..

I think this is their action against accounts they suspect to have been stolen/sold/bought and if you're really the true owner of your account just play ball, provide them your ID and get your coins back and don't use them again if that is what you wish. But right now you don't have any other options but to do what they ask you to do.

+1  Localbitcoins have obligations to fulfil with regard to money laundering laws and regulations and are perfectly entitled to insist on ID being provided before releasing funds.

Provide ID and get your money back seems to be the simplest solution to this issue.

Your best course of action was originally polite correspondence and compliance but now you have blown that chance with this thread.

Just send the ID they require. Block out your SS.
