Once the province of small-time investors driven by their distrust of government-backed currencies, now Wall Street bankers and traders are leaving high-paying jobs to join bitcoin start-ups, while big firms hire in-house to get their arms around bitcoin and the related 'blockchain' technology.

"A lot of people are entering the bitcoin space as the sector has reached an overall level of funding that's hard to ignore," said Jaron Lukasiewicz, founder and chief executive officer at New York-based bitcoin exchange Coinsetter.

Well, if they are whizzes, they know that Bitcoin is going to be the future.
Plus, they are taking in hefty stock options, even if they are not drawing huge salaries.

I just wish these guys could concentrate their efforts on the right side of the coin ---> Bitcoin. But it seems as though the latest trend is "Blockchain"

Everyone is getting so exited about the fact that some Wall Street wizz kid, will develop a competing "Private Blockchain" and this will be the next big thing... The thing that

started all this, was the fuckup's this system created in the first place. Let's hope, nobody forget, why we need a "Public Blockchain"
